    1. Hey there, StationDisastrous647 :) I actually already wrote a lyric for this one or at least most of it but it's pretty dark! I also laid down a vocal track but never got the time to finish it and polish it up, but if you like the lyrics I wrote for this and they weren't too dark for you, you could sing it exactly the way your inspired to sing it or if your looking for a place to start with the melody, I could post the rough mix I made in 2020 to give you some ideas ;) I think I called it Hell Hounds On Your Trail. It's told from the point of view of the Devil trying to claim this famous old Bluesman's soul. Got the idea from an old Ralph Macchio movie called CROSSROADS. If this is too dark for your taste, I completely understand and wish you the best of luck finding exactly the lyrics your looking for. ;)

    1. Cool. :) It's been a while since I've used this site. Could you message me or should I just post the lyrics here?

    2. He is on discord Ed. Another you don't use much. His name is Ed too, and we've been having some discussions.

    3. Thanks, Fred. :0) Guess I'll have to do and install on my newest phone. Forgot to do that when I switched over. Doh!

    4. A lot of the older members haven't come to discord yet, but it is getting heavy use by members. Mostly in private but a little public activity. I've just accepted that people want to do things in private, and I've kind of embraced the private. Lots of new members showing up and talking to me in private.

    5. I got a new phone too Ed. Wife bought me a samsung s20. It's pretty good. They say it rivals an iphone but I don't see that. Of course I don't see things that are right in front of me quite often. LOL

  7. I am questioning my own ear Ed. A good portion of what you show me I like. Others don't seem to like it. Has kind of shaken my judgement.

    1. It's all good, bud. :) I have talked to Ed on Discord and he has emailed me. He is welcome to use all of my melody or just parts of it or completely revamp it. Fred, is there a way I can find out what my Discord password is so I can access it with my new phone cuz the keyboard on my old phone is shot. He probably thought he was texting with Tarzan. Lol Now that I know Ed is very interested, I will make a complete vocal guide very soon. ;)

  8. I had to ditch a perfectly good phone a few years back because the keyboard stopped working. I still have the phone, but no keyboard input. I coud play music on it but no text input. So I hear ya.

    1. Gotcha. ;) And the truly nerve racking part was I didn't even know it was messed up till I tried pasting the lyrics and texting him, then found out my E and A and a couple others were barely working! :o

    2. Well that's a little different than what happened with mine. Mine stopped totally. Found out it was some sort of firmware that stopped working on mine. Felt like it was them keeping me on the hook for a new phone. Had no choice but to get one. It was a free phone I got when I first joined boost. Worked fine for a few years.

  9. You will see this on the menu of his site under "In Process". This should be clickable in your email: 👉 https://sites.google.com/view/music-of-eddie-shouldiers/in-process/hellhounds-on-your-trail

  10. Ok I dropped his stem into the mix and uploaded it. There is some confusion. Mostly on my part it seems. This has a long and storied history, so I suggest we start a new history and not spen a lot of time going over the confusing history. He said, he said.... I apologize. There are a lot of factors here, and discussing those don't help us move forward. I will apologize for the confusion, and we can move forward here. Eddie it seems Mr. Pheonix has indeed written for the part that he omitted last year. It's in the new vocal guide he has posted, which I have not yet heard. It's more important that Eddie has checked it out. My request to have Eddie write to the omitted part is null now, since Ed has covered that in his new work. Let's try to get on the same page and move forward rather than go over the history of this. Apologies.

  11. I need to update the lyrics, Fred. I know you gave me the ability to edit but still not sure how.

    1. Are you able to put the page in edit mode Ed? The lyrics that are on the page are in text format. You edit the lyrics (actually all info on the page) like you would a word processor. Put the cursor where you want it and delete or type in as you would in a work processor. Once in edit mode it's all text edits.

  12. How do I get into edit mode, Fred? Is there a button I need to tap on?

    1. If you have your android in "desktop view" it will be in the lower right corner of the page. You may need to zoom in to see the pencil icon, which put the page in edit mode when you click it. Working with android, like you and Eddie both are, you need to have your android in desktop view mode and then zooming in and out on the page will work.

    2. Eddie, you are using android too. Are you able to see a pencil icon at the bottom to enter the page into edit mode?

  13. Ok Ed's updated lyrics are on the page now.

  14. I got the pencil icon to show on the bottom of the page, using my android Ed. I had to "open in chrome" on the android. If you don't have the chrome app on your android, that is the answer. Same menu that has desktop mode on it, had "open in chrome", on it. Once I opened in chrome I could see the pencil icon. If you don't have chrome on your android go to google play and get it. If you haveit you should see "open in chrome" on the menu.

  15. I'm using chrome, Fred but my near sighted vision is not so good so I have the display on my phone set for extra large. So some things go right off the screen and I have to turn my phone to see a landscape view, I tried that and the pencil did show up while I had it zoomed. ;)

    1. Reading glasses are dirt cheap at the dollar store Ed. LOL Yes, when you zoom in some things goo off the screen. Youhave to move around then. I got the pencil to show with no zooming at all once I opened with chrome. It was visible immediately. I had surgery to replace the lense in my right eye last Wed. The left eye was done for this back in 2014. I have cyborg eyes now. Since you mostly use android Ed, it might be worth a trip to the dollar store. They will have a rack full of different strength reading glasses. Sounds like a must with android. At least you got to see it. I tried this with my Samsung Galaxy s20 fe. Entered edit mode and went to the lyrics and tried a text edit. Worked well. I just didn't save mey edits since it was just a test. All good.
