Hey whats up man i really like this piano you got going on here id love to try and see what i can come up with i downloaded it i still dont have my macbook back ffrom apple and thats where i do make almost all my music but i do have a pc and i can still try to lay down some drums for it maybe vocals also im just not comfortable withe DAW on pc but let me see what i can do for you what type of feel and drums you going for
I can hear so much potential in this as far as a complete production are u just wanting drums only or do u have other things in mind as far as like strings synths guitar stuff like that
Hiya, yeah sure i did think for strings but wanted vocals in first but if you can imagine the vocals then have a play and lay some. Throw some stems up or zip it up and throw up a mixdown with ya stuff.
You are welcome to conduct business anyway you want Andy. You are the producer here, so you control it. What we've been doing is to have "auditions" demoed in mp3 format first. You can either accept and they will be added to the roster at the top of the page, or you can decline and say why or what they could do differently that might get it accepted. They can try again with your feedback in mind and then perhaps it will get accepted. I tell people to just grab the mix and try an audition and upload it. That is more efficient. Also we've been considering that it is still open for other auditions until you've accepted something and they are added to the roster. That keeps it open for auditions to do it that way. Lets you keep receiving auditions until it is official that you have what you need. Hey guys, if you click your own names in here it takes you to your blogger profile and you can update your photos and add info. If people know to click your name they can get info from there if you add it.
I am addressing auditioners here now. Do yourself a favor and post mp3 mixes for Andy to hear before you send up stems. You could be wasting your time sending high def stems before it is accepted. Audition in mp3, then if he likes it you can send up stems and be sure it will be used. Also if there are a lot of auditions we can put theones he likes in the yellow area at the top of the page to keep them safe. He might like something but is not ready to make a decision and hear other ideas. The yellow area is supposed to help keep liked ideas safe in the frey. Might not get used but that's the idea.
Is it OK to post potential lyrics before making a mix just in case Andy is not fond of the subject matter or doesn't care for the lyrics, finding that out before recording the melody over the music could save some time too. ;)
I think this track has a lot of potential! :) For some reason, Andy's music made me think of the movie Castaway, and my lyrics reflect this.
No that's cool Brent, can u add or post link to ya vocals dry and the piano rearrange ment, ill keep it same just change bit shere there to stop it sounding repeated if it does.
Ed it's cool whatever lyrics you want to put. Can always change the sound of things to it's 2 same but different tracks. Brent has rearranged the piano how he wants, I can just tweak it so it sounds more touchy feely with his vocals but do completely different so yeah do the lyrics and vocals if you intended to.
Hi, Andy. :) Ok so basically all I have recorded is a potential chorus at the end. I recorded it quite a few months ago and at that time I had also done a quick recording of a couple of verses near the beginning of the track but unfortunately my SD drive got corrupted somehow and I lost that recording, along with over 80 gigs of other data. :o So when you get time have a listen to this and let me know if you think there's any potential. And if you're not feeling it, no worries. ;)
